Hot Springs is actually, by official name, Hot Springs National Park. Hot Springs National Park was originally designated Hot Springs Reservation making it the first National Park in the United States and this was 40 years before Yellowstone became a national park. One of the newer attractions to Hot Springs is Garvan Woodland Gardens. Garvan Gardens is an outdoor botantical garden and the best way to describe the beauty of the garden is to simply say click here . Every season offers it's own beautiful array of flowers, shrubs and lights. Any season is a good season to visit the Garvan Gardens.

Hot Springs is centrally located in Arkansas and is within less than one hour driving distance to three major universities and The Bill and Hillary Clinton International Airport in Little Rock.
